Daily Duties at Mc Murry University:

Taught for McMurry University on Monday and Wednesday Evenings during the Spring, Summer and Fall Semesters. Salary indicated is for a 3 credit college course. Provided opportunity for one-on-one meetings with students to discuss course content or problems experienced with class assignments. Initiated positive interaction with students and received commendation from my superiors. Embraced opportunity to share with diverse cultures and social backgrounds. Maintained class attendance records and gradebook and submitted both at the end of the semester. Planned and developed class syllabus, teaching notes, supplemental handout materials and exams for the seven classes taught on a rotational basis. Included current events and de-identified life situations in course presentations to increase student participation and provide context and reality to textbook content. Taught the following classes • Introduction to Sociology • Marriage and Family • Social Work Practice • Social Policy • Social Problems • Juvenile Delinquency • Comparative Criminology
