Daily Duties at Carlisle, Collection & Per Se:
• Work directly with the fabric manager and designers in all phases of fabric development to final product • Manage all sample yardage as it’s received, create and maintain seasonal fabric books and inventory books for left over fabric • Manage and maintain seasonal fabric reports and budget charts • Work with colorist to review and approve lab dips, sample and stock cuts • Create RM codes in RLM, issue production PO’s, make PO revisions when needed • Work with mills in Europe and Asia on sample/production deliveries and expedite orders when necessary • Manage relationships with Hong Kong factories on a daily basis by working through various delivery, design and quality issues • Participate in weekly production meetings to provide updates and discuss issues • Work with quality control manager to ensure fabrics are of finest quality and pass standard tests • Work with advertising department by providing fabric and fabric details for look books/ swatch books
