Daily Duties at Wes Garde:
Sales presentations, PLC system design, oversee OO software development of other engineers in states and overseas, Training presentations, new hardware integration, customer support. Daily tasks involved : preparing sales support plans and presentation materials, traveling to and meeting with customers to help develop system specifications to meet their needs, presenting product line and benefits to potential customers, solving customers issues on site and remotely, programming custom software for clients needs, validating other programmers designs, creating technical reports, standards and manuals for other programmers; prototyping new designs and new software to provide new technology for clients.
