Daily Duties at Entegee / Zumtobel:
Design on lighting assemblies with pro-engineer. design of parts using pro-e sheetmetal. Assembling electrical and mechanical parts together in 3D cad models. Creation of part and assembly drawings for manufacturing. Presentation of lighting assemblies to engineering management for approval. Meet with manufacturing personnal to discuss upcoming designs and follow through of prototype designs through the manufacturing process. Meeting with industrial engineers for part manufacturing. Design of LED light assemblies. Modification of pick and place spreadsheets for PC board manufacturing process. Creation of new ideas for simplifying designs and reducing cost. Calling suppliers to discuss opportinities to change designs or manufacturing processes to decrease cost and simplify manufacturing.
