Daily Duties at New York Medical College:
•Oversee and manage a comprehensive housing program including the organization of all functional, operational and co-curricular aspects of two apartment style complexes housing over five hundred medical and graduate students, including supervision of five professional staff members •Administer budget with revenues in excess of four million dollars per year and operating expenses in excess of two million dollars per year •Oversee housing facilities; plan preventative and long term maintenance projects; implement a capital improvement schedule and develop related budget •Coordinate room assignment, selection, and check-in and out processes for all students •Serve as a member of the Student Affairs Team in order to address medical student personal and career counseling issues •Serve on the Middle States Self-Study Committee (Students Subcommittee) •Create and disseminate new publications and marketing materials including a housing newsletter, brochure and improved website •Serve as chief student conduct officer for residential students
