Daily Duties at J.C. Penney:
• Provides superior customer service, developing trustworthy rapport with customers to increase repeat sales. • Recommends additional related merchandise of which customers may have been previously unaware. • Oversees cashiering and ensures accuracy of sales transactions, including returns and adjustments. • Assists in training new hires and other associates; participates in company shrinkage and safety programs. • Helps with Orientation Training for new hires; re-trains associates on JCP Credit Card Applications. • Leverages company programs to maximize additional sales outlets (e.g. Catalog Referrals, Credit Application Solicitation, Credit, and Target Marketing programs).
