Daily Duties at U.S. Navy Uss Belleau Wood:
Was assigned to 6 storerooms in daily cleaning, maintenance, stock material receipt, custody, and proper storage. Received approzimately 350 stock material receipts ensuring stock material was received, and stored in the proper location. Verified the new added quantity with material onhand to make adjustments to SUADPS-RT, a computer application designed to track, inventory, and issue material from the storeroom. Conducted monthly spot inventories as a member of the command inventory team, ensuring location validity, and inventory count was maintained at acceptable levels according to NAVSUP of 90% inventory accuracy, and 98% location validity. Was also assigned as a forklift driver,loading 15 pallets daily of stock material and special orders for different departments. Was also a forklift driver for the onload of marines and 500 pallets of gear for marine support during 4 deployments, and ground support while on the ground.
