My responsibilities were related to the loans made to corporate clients and included but were not limited to the following: • Managed relationships with clients, investment banking relationship teams, legal counsel, other bank groups, compliance, finance & accounting, and senior management to design and execute banking transactions • Participated in various credit committee meetings convened to analyze and evaluate the credit, legal, regulatory, and business related issues for new and renewing loan transactions • Coordinated internal approval process for all loan transactions being considered by the Bank. • Reviewed all loan documents with legal counsel to identify and resolve any potential legal or business issues • Perform due diligence to identify any compliance related issues including OFAC, AML, PEP, etc. • Perform regulatory due diligence to identify issues pertaining to 23A & B, Reg O, Reg U etc. • Coordinated the execution and funding of loan facilities • Assisted in the marking and pricing of existing loan commitments and make recommendations to hold or sell part or all of our loan commitments due to individual company exposure or industry concentration exposure • Managed the collection of all relevant loan documents to ensure complete and accurate loan files • Monitored loans in portfolio to ensure receipt and accuracy of all financial covenants • Managed relationships with FDIC, Utah Department of Financial Institutions (“UDFI”), internal corporate auditors, compliance, finance and senior management • Accessed and managed the business, regulatory, credit and market risk for my loan portfolio • Determined appropriate risk levels and manage through loan sales and hedging
