Daily Duties at Coast Alliance:

∙Researched and analyzed data evaluating water quality programs. Wrote technical report that was distributed nationally to federal/state agencies and environmental group, and gained national press coverage. ∙Edited Coast to Coast newsletter, which contained articles on water quality issues throughout the U.S. ∙Analyzed proposed environmental legislation and developed two facts sheets – one utilized by staff to lobby congressmen and a second that was distributed to congressmen – contributing to blocking of bills that would have weakened environmental protection. ∙Coordinated press release of technical report, eliciting interest from national press, and gaining press coverage in several states.
