Sage System Technologies Work Values

Daily Duties at Sage System Technologies:

∙The U.S. Coast Guard was tasked by Congress to find ways that towing boat operators could avoid accidents without further regulation. The Coast Guard Research & Development program found ways, but failed to adequately note the sources of their findings. To compensate for this oversight, I was asked to research and analyze fifteen environmental and health factors that affect human fatigue and work performance. ∙When I completed the above task, I wrote a report for Congress on the strengths, benefits, and reasons for the Coast Guard’s program to prevent fatigue among tow boat operators. ∙Edited committee report written by engineers who speak English as a second language, for presentation to international maritime group. ∙Collaborated with several project teams comprised of Coast Guard engineers and technical professionals to formulate new federal regulations.

Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
