Daily Duties at Anchor Bay Entertainment:
Anchor Bay Entertainment bought Stand Home Video, of which I was VP Marketing. Based in Detroit, MI, I was the only person at Strand asked to stay on, given the role of being accountable for all acquisition, marketing and sales initiatives with product that emanated on the West Coast. My office in LA was a two-person office with all the in-house work being overseen by me but done by the corporate office in Detroit where I had dotted line reporting of 10 remote employees. During this time period I was responsible for sales of the best selling "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends" series, music and videos by children's artists Sharon, Lois & Bram, a best selling fitness video by Kathy Lee Gifford, best selling music videos by Perry Como, Luciano Pavarotti, Queen and Tina Turner and worked with Wayne Williams, the creator of Mr. Bill, or a series of videos based upon the SNL character
