Daily Duties at Tift Regional Medical Center:
Direct all aspects of Respiratory Services including budget development, capital equipment planning and purhcasing, quality assurrance, staff development and patient satisfaction. During my tenure, I have implemented patient driven protocols and expanded services by through the development of a Rapid Assessment Team that helped reduce non-ICU, non-Emergency Department Codes by 80% within the first 6 months of implementation. Also began offering endo-bronchial ultrasound and off-site Pulmonary Function Testing. I also led the department through the implementation of an electronic medical record. I have grown the department from a fifteen employee department to a thirty-one employee department. All of this was done with minimal turn-over and while maintaining budgetary goals.
