Daily Duties at General Dynamics:
Coordinated various proposal packages for New Business or increased work-scope to existing contracts Participated in business planning and related activities; conducted price analysis studies of future business opportunities, assisted in fact finding and provided technical support to contract negotiations Developed proposal packages for “What if, plant comparison and Outsourcing” studies for profit maximization Presented New Business Packages to Senior Management and Customers Assisted in negotiations with the Customer for contract award Developed Business Plans for the plants such as Manpower, scheduling, plant layouts, product mix, etc. Audited existing Contracts to ensure maximum profit is achieve Oversaw capacity planning and control activities to ensure continuous production flow and timely order completion and the optimal cost Based upon program, contract and other requirements, developed annual manpower and staffing, Other Manufacturing Expense (OME) budgets and plans Supported and participated in operational planning process and plan maintenance; developed and maintained labor standards and indirect expense budgets Prepared documentation for capacity plans, manpower schedules, budgets, performance, and other reports and records as required by the team, customers, leadership, or other personnel; created time standards, forecasts and statistical evaluations for loading, layout and scheduling Developed process plans along with process engineers to assure that the optimum processes are being used including gathering data on work areas, work elements, establishing standard times, work measurement, effort measurements, equipment used, ergonomic requirements, job safety and other necessary elements to plan the process Created operating budgetary controls, production indicator charts, graphs, and report weekly production activity regarding manufacturing progress to planned performance Monitored process performance (EVM) and initiate corrective actions when required Provided support for all required training and certifications Required to-replace other engineers and specialists in performing quality, process, facility, design, materials, and leadership functions Certified Internal Auditor Training by Eagle Group in February 2003 Established reputation as a Whole System's Architecture Design Team Leader Participated as a key member of the ISO 9002 process team
