Daily Duties at Federal Mogul:

 Coordinated the development of a plant budget, monitored plant performance against the budget, took necessary action through cost control methods to attain plant budgetary objectives, and maximized use of investment in inventories and facilities  Provided leadership and direction for accounting and networking functions to assure attainment of plant objectives; promoted constraint management, lean manufacturing, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO-14001 principles in their daily activities  Prepared an Annual Business Plan, monthly forecasts and operating budgets; maintained central and monitor adherence to those schedules  Initiated and maintained procedures, records and reports relating to financial operations and accounting methods at the Athens plant  Participated in developing long range strategic plans for several business units  Performed monthly and year-end closing, as well as overseeing accounting continuous improvement efforts, and performing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits  Created and maintained Finance Segregation of Duties for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance  Assisted in the preparation, completion of product physical and asset inventories  Managed personnel appraisals, employee development plans, staffing levels, salary levels, and salary administration of the department  Analyzed financial data to ensure data integrity provide reporting and improve processes  Provided interpretation of financial reports and status of financial goals to plant and corporate management
