Daily Duties at Lincoln Trail Council Boy Scouts Of America:

Assigned Territory include 4 counties and 23 communities between Decatur and Effingham, IL  Fundraising o SME (sustaining membership enrollment) and Annual United Way Campaigns.  Training o Adult district leadership – Scout Adult and Youth leadership training. o Commissioner training – liaison to scout troop and committees leadership cores.  Recruitment o Retention of scout adult leader membership (tiger scouts, cub scouts, boy scouts and explore scouts high school post).  Programming o Cub scouts day camp, boy scout summer camp and all spring and fall camp outs. o Scout shows, pinewood derbies, first aide meets and mall publicities.  Presented council to 23 services organization, (Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club, Lions Club and Kiwanis Club).  Managed Public Relations with mass media include newspaper, radio and T.V. resources to notify communities of calendar events.
