Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Corp.:
• Review and validate environmental data packages for US EPA Region 3 by using Region 3 and National Functional Guidelines. The data packages consist of analytical results of superfund sites. Results are produced by EPA’s Contract Laboratory Program labs that analyze samples in various matrices which include air, soil, sediments, water, fish tissues and wastes. Samples are analyzed by various instruments which include HPLC, GC, GC/MS, high resolution MS, ICP-AES and ICP/MS. • Review lab results documentation to determine relevance and level of completeness; maintained all documentation in accordance with established Statement of Work (SOW) provided by US EPA Region III. • Review organic and inorganic QA/QC protocols and generate validation reports. Developed and executed validation protocols and analytical data auditing reports. • Reviewed peer QA/QC validation reports.
