Performed tax consulting and compliance services for a wide variety of clients, including consolidated corporations, S-corporations, partnerships and individuals. Compliance projects included calculation of book-tax reconciliations and preparation of federal and state income tax returns, franchise tax returns, and property tax returns. Consulting engagements involved analysis of issues such as mergers and acquisitions, net operating loss limitations, deductibility of interest expense, capitalization rules, and business formations. Responsibilities also included training new staff and interns, interacting with clients.
