Daily Duties at Miller Musmar:
Performed tax consulting and compliance services for a variety of clients, including consolidated corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, LLCs and individuals. Responsible for the supervision of bookkeeping and financial reporting for a subsidiary of a large national corporation. Compliance projects included preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, franchise tax returns, property tax returns, payroll tax returns, and business and individual tax projections. Consulting engagements involved issues such as restructuring, review of licensing agreements and the international tax implications, the selection of the best entity type for a new business, the deductibility of various business-related expenses, cash flow analysis, and financial statement and ratio analysis for purposes of assisting clients in obtaining lines of credit.
