Daily Duties at Recorded Books:
$60M Revenue company. Assist in oversight and training of 12 accounting staff. Review 45+ standard monthly journal entries for accuracy, including A/P accruals, Payroll, Deferred Revenue. Prepare 12+ fairly complex journal entries in compliance with GAAP. Prepare Bank recs. Reconcile various GL accounts to sub-ledgers. Prepare Annual Property tax return and industry surveys. Provide auditors with routine reports. Assist Controller and CFO with special projects/analyses.
