Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard Company:
I managed the manufacturing engineering change improvement process across five manufacturing engineering product development departments. I communicated and collaborated with all manufacturing original equipment manufacturers regarding the change management process and any improvements agreed to and generated for future implementation. I was responsible for driving improvements in the change process and negotiating improvements cross-functionally as well as with the OEM's. I was responsible for overseeing adherence to the change process including the prioritization of engineering change implementation through the manufacturing supply chain from mass production to product service and support. I managed all engineering changes to LaserJet products in current production, obsolete products as well as new products under manufacturing development prior to release. I supported in excess of 25 current products, in excess of 30 'support only' products and in excess of 20 obsolete products. Number of changes handled on an annual basis exceeded 1,000. The annual LaserJet product manufacturing volume exceeded 4,000,000 units per year. The sales volume of LaserJet printers is a multi-billion dollar business. I drove the smooth integration of manufacturing engineering change process strategy into the service parts supply chain. The annual service parts dollar volume exceeded $70,000,000.
