Daily Duties at Kforce (Contracted To Lpl Financial):
Responsible for the management of IT infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on data center, network and facilities related projects. I also manage the relationship between LPL’s Business Technology Services (IT) and Facilities departments. Projects that I have managed include: the planning and implementation of all Technology infrastructure (Low Voltage and Fiber Optic Cabling, Voice Systems, ACD, Data Networking, Desktops, Video Conferencing and AV) for four new office buildings (200,000+ SQFT, 1000+ users), migration off of and retirement of a 4,000 user/ two Terabyte multisite Novell system, multiple Data Center infrastructure upgrades including servers, SAN, NAS, network, Power/UPS, and air conditioning upgrades and the infrastructure portion of the relocation of an Internet facing production data center (350+ servers) from a collocation facility in California to another collocation facility in North Carolina.
