Daily Duties at The Bank Of New York Mellon:
• Duties included variance analysis of over 150 active accounts against domestic and global custody systems. • Researched and resolved cash and assets discrepancy on daily and monthly basis. • Researched capital changes on domestic and foreign equity utilizing C.C.H doc. • Researched mortgaged back security factors on Bloomberg to reconcile periodic pay downs • Reconciled between bank’s book ( Custody) and client’s book for securities • Reviewed securities in accounts for proper prices, accretion and accruals to ensure correct market value. • Produced monthly, quarterly and annually client reports reflecting account activity and month end positions for fixed Income, equity and limited partnership accounts. • Prepared ERISA reports, FASB 115 reports, Master Trust Allocation reports and other customized reports for various Master Trust/Master Custody relationships by utilizing the daily and monthly proof in “Data store Accounting System”. • Interacted with area of the Bank( CSR ,Administration, Investment Management Liaison, Operations and Pricing department) • Checked reports prepared by Junior accountant and generally participates in the more complicated types of Relationships • Prepared and reviewed Q-Traks for missing price/or Challenging price from clients • Prepared and reviewed missed delivery for reports and revised notices • Communicate potential problems upward to team leaders
