Daily Duties at Us Army Amedd Center And School:

Serves as the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Whiskey Training Team for the 68W Health Care Specialist Program, Department of Combat Medic Training (DCMT). Responsible for providing training for over 7,000 Initial Entry Training (IET) Soldiers annually in the subject of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3). Responsible for initiating, coordinating, implementing, and overseeing all Whiskey Team training development, SOPs, resource identification and requests. Responsible for $1.2 million in equipment. Evaluates and revises lesson plans, leads, observes,evaluates, and counsels a staff of 30 NCOs and civilian Instructors. Ensures standardization of training by updating lesson plans. Monitors student performance and outcomes by adjusting curriculum delivery practices to optimize retention and minimize attrition. Ensures training reflects current medical doctrine and lessons learned.
