Daily Duties at Newman Ferrara L Lp:

Manage all Administrative areas and personnel which include, but not limited to, accounting, office services/file records, secretarial and reception. Schedules, assigns and directs work. Primary Human Resource contact for development and implementing recruiting, policies, practices, procedures and benefits. Conducts interviews, hiring and orienting new staff. Handles development of employee evaluation process, counseling, training. Conducts work performance evaluations and reviews and coaches all professional and support staff on how to achieve satisfactory expectations and requirements. Provides HR advice to partnership; investigates human resource related problems and makes recommendations for improvement. Implements structure for postive management environment. Implements processing of separations, including exit procedures, interviews, coordination of final payroll, final review and closure of personnel file. Develop and maintain personnel filing system. Handles all payroll functions, maintains time and attendance recordkeeping. Provides, enters and maintains HR data and reporting. Liaison with benefit brokers, risk management firms for administration and implementation of health insurance, 401K, section 125 programs. Investigates and researches ways of reducing cost of benefit programs and restructuring employee contributions to ensure all employees are able to afford participation. Negotiate contracts with local vendors for MIS, telecommunications, office supplies, construction and facility improvements. Works independently on a broad variety of projects
