Daily Duties at Brookstone Co., Inc.:

Optimally directed all operations of up to 10 specialty retail locations, including providing all essential sales, human resources, profit/loss, merchandising, operations, loss prevention and customer service support. In addition to the basic operations listed above, I managed and trained all Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers how to actively recruit quality candidates for current and upcoming openings, (creating a pool of skilled personnel) at each location. I was also instrumental in the creation of several sales training, gross margin based plan-o-grams/merchandising schematics, and loss prevention policies for the company. Would regularly partner with human resources manager on HR issues that warranted their involvement, department/field opportunities. Also partnered with upper management regarding field issues and identfied sales opportunities and also worked very closely with the Loss Prevention department regarding suspicious activity, audit results, or anything at their request.
