Daily Duties at Cpl:
I screened gyn and non-gyn conventional smears using a manual microscope. Production was limeted by the state. Statistical logs were kept by each tech. QC was rotated; each tech worked as QC tech for at least one week at a time. All senior members of the staff including myself were former supervisors, lab manager or instructors for a school of cytology. The lab had an excellent correlation and a low ASCUS rate.
