AIR FORCE CAREER HIGHLIGHTS May 00 - Nov 00 Chief, Exercise and Evaluations, Vandenberg AFB, CA. • Effectively led and managed the 30th Space Wing Exercise and Evaluation Program activities for wing and associate units. • Planning covered $3.3 billion in assets, $260 million annual budget, and included participation of 7,000 military and civilian personnel assigned to the base. • Oversaw development, coordination, administration and evaluation of base disaster and contingency response exercises. • Coordinates with all California Central Coast Disaster agencies for involvement in regional exercises. • Formulates, reviews, and coordinates all base and county exercise results with wing leadership and other commanders. • Lead for wing planning and participation in all higher headquarters and Department of Defense exercises. • Assessed effectiveness of base manpower and material management in response to emergency situations. Reviewed wing contingency operations policies and procedures for effectiveness and applicability. Focal point and planning interface for Inspector General Inspections.
