Daily Duties at Cardrona Alpine Resort:
- Provided leadership and direction to the operation and profitability of the Ski and Snowboard School. - Lead, coached and mentored Snowsports team in all day to day operational and people-related matters. - Planned, developed and implemented an integrated human resources function. - Planned, developed and implemented departmental leadership initiatives, training and succession planning. - Provided advice, guidance and management of all human resources and employment relations. - Planned, developed and implemented a performance management system and development cycle for the Snowsports School including: goal setting, performance reviews and development plans. - Managed and coordinated the daily operations of the Cardrona Ski School in order to achieve its goals of service quality, guest satisfaction, safety, product innovation and employee development. - Planned and executed workforce planning to determine appropriate staffing levels. - Oversee the delivery of high quality instruction and ensure the delivery of client centered service. - Developed employee engagement including recognition, communication, training and support. - Developed and executed a talent attraction strategy to meet employment and operational needs. - Planned, coordinated and oversaw all training programs. - Ensured compliance with employment laws and legislation and implementation of workplace health and safety initiatives. - Reviewed, redesigned and delivered new position descriptions for all Snowsports Centre employees and ensured HR policies, processes and procedures were accurate and updated.
