Daily Duties at Penda Corporation:
Planned, designed, and developed thermoformed light truck accessories and agricultural products for OEMs/aftermarkets. Utilized NX Unigraphics to create 3D models, dimensional drawings, assembly drawings, patterns, tooling and specifications. Recommended and developed design changes to increase reliability/decrease costs while maintaining customer requirements. Created and maintained bill of materials to insure accuracy and true costing was captured. Utilized Design FMEA and Process FMEA techniques within multidiscipline project teams to minimize the likelihood of failures. Defined tests to be conducted, when needed, and evaluated test results. Consulted with clients/suppliers to discuss project plans/issues so that new product launches and revisions stayed focused and on task.
