Daily Duties at The American Stroke Association:
• Coordinated the activities of personnel engaged in the Train To End Stroke Program. • Executed daily operations, which included: television appearances, all public relations efforts, and donor relations. • Designed and produced fundraising incentive programs. • Prepared and issued purchase orders and change notices. • Instrumental in coordinating all volunteer efforts. • Trained and managed twelve (2) staff members and ten (10) volunteers to achieve significant improvements in their productivity. • Supervised and managed one hundred and eighty (180) volunteers in preparing to fundraise $5,000 each over a six month period. • Reviewed expense reports and contracts for conformance to company policy. • Developed and installed clerical and office procedures and practices. • Supervised two (2) employees and 10 volunteers, scheduled work hours, resolved conflicts, and determined salaries. • Studied workflow, sequence of operations and office arrangement. • Successfully handled information meetings to sign up new team members.
