Oct 07 - Jul 11Medical Readiness Deployment Specialist 711th Human Performance Wing Brooks-City Base TX . • Managed the 711 HPW medical readiness program for 1100 medical personnel assigned to Brooks City Base, TX and other geographical locations throughout the world. • Configures and maintains functional Unit Type Codes (UTC’s) postured by MAJCOM Functional Area Managers (FAM’s). Review all deployment related documents for applicable equipment and identifies unit deployment requirements. • Coordinate with MAJCOM and team chiefs to tailor equipment packages to meet contingency and exercise deployments. Ensures deployment equipment and supplies maintained are in constant state of readiness. • Coordinate personnel/equipment movement requirements with the IDO and Traffic Management Flight for scheduled deployment. • Manage a myriad of deployment systems to include Status of Resources and Training Systems (SORTS), Defense Readiness Reporting Systems (DRRS), AEF Reporting Tool (ART) Medical Readiness Decision Support System Unit Level Tracking and Reporting Application (MRDSS/ULTRA) and Logistic Module (LOGMOD). • Submit reports reflecting unit’s ability to meet wartime mission requirements. Advises commander on the impact of deployment requirements, prepare statistics, and shortfall letters as required. • Ensures the unit meets wartime and peacetime mobility missions through scheduling and tracking unit deployment training. Periodically review mobility folders for completeness, currency, and accuracy. Prepare and update unit level Full Spectrum Response Plan, Medical Contingency Response Plan, and manage the medical control center.
