Feb 11- Jul 11 Security Manager 711th Human Performance Wing Brooks City Base, TX • Implements and administers the Information Security Program for 711 HPW, implements DoD, HQ USAF, and MAJCOM policies and develops local procedures for the classification and protection of classified information and other sensitive information originated or controlled by the wing. • Provide guidance on classification marking, accountability, control, storage, safeguarding, downgrading, declassifying, and destruction procedures for classified material for 5 different accounts. • Prepare requests for issuance and control of building access entry badges, processing of security clearances and conducts security education training. • Assists in the industrial security program ensuring contractors are in compliance with national and local security requirements. Assisted in resolving long standing problem of ensuring contractors had proper site visit requests and level of security clearance necessary for their duties. • Manages the Physical Security program implements HQAF and local policies, develops local plans and procedures for the protection of all facilities, personnel and resources assigned to the 711 HPW. • Performs duties as the Antiterrorism/Force protection (AT/FP) representative, initiates and tracks AT/FP recurring training for all personnel assigned to 711 HPW. Implements Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAMS), develops and implements local instructions and procedures to support installation security plans. • Administers and provide oversight for the Operations Security (OPSEC) Program for the 711 HPW Aero medical Research, Education and Consultation Mission activities. Execute OPSEC tenets by utilizing commander, base and higher headquarters program policy and guidance.
