Daily Duties at Dell:
Consumer Innovations Group. Lead mechanical function in a small, very senior design and development group responsible for designing and developing consumer products that are new to Dell. Extensive interaction with ODMs, both at Dell and On-site in Asia.Work with Marketing, I.D. and Project Managers from initial concept stage onward, coordinating with other in-house experts as needed (Compliance,Procurement,E.E,etc.)Develop and supervise Lay-outs with ODM,evaluate construction and component geometry, analyze thermal and mechanical simulations,evaluate engineering models and coordinate and monitor Tool release through Production start-up.
