Daily Duties at Elbert C 1 School District:

Providing leadership in all aspects of personnel reporting to the Board of Education, Superintendent, Administrators, Federal, State and Local agencies, employees and community members throughout the district. Supervises, evaluates, assigns and directs the work of human resource personnel. Acts as the liaison with attorneys relative to personnel issues. Implement all policies and procedures pertaining to human resources. Negotiate and administer the increases for the district’s self-insurance for health, dental, life and vision for all full-time employees. Administers the district’s workers’ compensation and unemployment programs. Calculates salary placement for all personnel, and prepares employment contracts and notice of assignments. Prepares all annual salary schedules for administrative, certified and classified staff. Conducted comparisons with comparable school districts for staff, salaries, benefits and class sizes. Providing leadership in all aspects of financial planning and budgeting along with financial reports to the Board of Education, Superintendent, Administrators, Federal, State and Local agencies, bonding agencies, employees and community members throughout the district.
