Daily Duties at Friedman And Swift:
I would resarch the company and then try to sell them what we had to offer. I landed one account with a huge furniture store owned by Warren Buffet. I went out there with a $100,000 proposal,they spent $5 million a month on adverising and we could find out what they did if it wso working or not. I prsented to the entire Board, CEO.CFO.COO.etc., 8 people and me. I got a call on Friday of that week while I was still in Salt Lake City and they accetped the deal! It certainly wasn't all that easy, but I did do some good business for them. They got into cash flow issues and started to not pay sales all their money. My one friend was owed $20k and that's when I started to think of a way out, becuse my checks were now one month behind and I can't operate like that. I know if you get owed too much, you are much more likely to stay and see if you'll get paid. I got out.
