Daily Duties at Purdue Pharma:

During the last year: Directed nonclinical evaluations of DMPK for 2 project teams. Supported toxicologist colleagues through evaluation of toxicokinetics. Directed the work of 2 senior preclinical DMPK scientists. Continued to manage a group of 4 professional scientific writers. During the first 4 years: Directed lead compound selection and optimization in vitro and in vivo of new non-opioid analgesics. Directed a group of fourteen discovery research staff, including in vitro metabolism, bioanalytical, PK and pre-formulation scientists and collaborated on PK/PD studies with discovery pharmacologists. Managed a group of 6 professional scientific writers involved in the preparation of internal reports and regulatory submissions.
