Daily Duties at Hca Physician Health Services:

Surgery Practice. Responsible for coordination of care for 3 Trauma/General Surgeons’ patient pre/post-op hospital care/follow-up; assist with scheduling surgery/surgical followup or planning based on Surgeon’s evaluations. • Assist with in-office surgical procedures • Nursing assessment and follow-up • Telephone triage and follow-up • Coordinated referrals/continuum of care within the hospital systems and offices for patients following or leading up to General surgery • Conducts/coordinates medical management for General Surgery patients • Patient intake assessments • Responsible for assisting NEW Trauma/General Surgeon in his efforts to build his patient base for General Surgery and work with practice manager/surgeon/marketing to ensure coordination of efforts for practice building is occurring. • Collaborate with other practioners to ensure coordination of patient care and followup
