Daily Duties at Avaya (Vo):
Worked in call center (help-desk) environment troubleshooting computer issues for global customers. Diagnosed and repaired Unix-based Conversants, Solaris-based Avaya Interactive Voice Response Units, and Linux-based Avaya Voice Portal systems. Built, installed, maintained and upgraded Solaris, UNIX and Linux Systems for use in Telephony environment. Defined project requirements and delivered technical and operational implementation services for the successful installation of high revenue strategic self service projects. Provided Tier III technical support to global customers with technical and implementation problems with mission critical applications. Developed pricing for custom SOW’s, created custom training for clients and internal Avaya resources, worked onsite with customers to install new Interactive Response systems and trained them on how to use the systems. Created technical and business documentation for use within the organization, reviewed/approved Installation and Upgrade documentation used throughout the company.
