Began a professional career as an Intern Architect for IBM and was introduced to corporate architecture. Supported registered architects with several projects that involved space planning, tenant build-out and renovation ranging from office space in White Plains and in NY City to designing prototype production space and assembly lines that could be deployed in IBM manufacturing plants. As with the remainder of his career, technology played a central role in the delivery of architectural and facility management services and support, and experiences at IBM with CADAM (2D) and CATIA (3D) drafting technologies added another dimension to university ‘thesis’ work that leveraged Intergraph workstations running Microstation.
