Daily Duties at Gte:

* Responsible for writing High Level designs, which identified all system changes for a single initiative targeted for a production release. This required strong analystical skills and excellent writting skills. * Responsible for writing program level detail designs which incorporated changes defined in the high level designs for multiple initiatives (often as many as 7). This required excellent analytical and writing skills. * Production and UAT test support. This required 24/7 availabliity and strong analytical and problem solving skills. They was often a production outage, so immediate response and resolutiion was imperative. * Served as Service Order team lead. At the time there was a total of 35 technician and business analyst. Main responsibilities as team lead were as follows: analyze all changes targeted for a production release and determine how much time would be needed to complete each phase of work associated with program changes (coding, testing, etc). Made coding assignment for all programs impacted during a release. Needed to ensure that the workload within a release was evenly distributed and ensured that all deliverables were met. During my tenure as team lead, we completed all deliveralbles on time. As team lead, I had to possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and often mentored teammates. While team lead, when a technician was called out during the night or weekend, I always provided on sight support. *
