• Started business to provide technical and policy consulting services. Developed entire client base. Advised Independent Timbers & Stevedoring, a company holding 1 million acres in Papua New Guinea, on sustainable natural resources management by analyzing the land holding, timber inventory, and technical capacity of the organization. Created forest management policies to achieve objectives and overcome client’s business and regulatory risks. • Drafted new Operations and Membership manuals for Northwest Natural Resources Group (Pt. Townsend, WA), a landowner organization holding 160,000 acres in Oregon and Washington. Trained 25 natural resources professionals and landowners on sustainable forestry practices. • Successfully conducted forest certification audits of over 50 forest products companies and private landowners in the Northwest under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Standard by evaluating operations on site, identifying non-compliances, and issuing corrective action requests.
