Daily Duties at Hinkley And Associates, Inc.:
Bid projects by reviewing blue prints and specifications. Determined what trades were needed for jobs and contacted 3-5 contractors for each trade. Scheduled contractors to visit office and do a "take off" and provided them w/ blue print and specifications when possible. Followed up w/ all contractors to verify they were still on schedule and would provide bids prior to bid opening. Worked w/ contractors and architects to obtain answers to contractors "RFI's" (Request for Information), provided direction from Architect to Contractor. Prepared all documentation (bid packages) for each potential project. Attended bid openings, pre-job walks and job walks. Worked directly w/ customers and supervised our Superintendents. Prepared and updated project schedules, billing (AIA Billing Documents), project start-ups, contracts, quality mgmt. Analyzed all bids for accuracy.
