Daily Duties at Sweetbay Supermarket:
Initially recruited to manage facility maintenance and assist team tasked with transformation of 100+ discount grocery facilities into upscale supermarkets to coincide with company rebranding and re-launch. Upon completion of successful upgrade initiative in 2008, directed ongoing facility maintenance operations for 107 stores. Managed core business and operational functions, including P&L, budgets, procurement and equipment maintenance. Coached and mentored team, conducting appraisals and developing employee talent. Ensured compliance with company, state and federal safety standards. Worked with real estate office to assess decommissioned property. Continuously improved operations. Managed all vendor interaction.
