Daily Duties at Bay Trail Middle School:
Assisted master teacher in teaching five 8th grade English classes. Successfully completed full spectrum of practicum requirements through student teaching experience in secondary classrooms. Planned and presented English and language-arts lessons in compliance with New York State learning requirements. Provided group and individual instruction for students in both 8th grade and grades 10-12. Collaborated with teaching staff to plan curriculum, special activities, and field trips. Participated in parent/teacher conferences. Met with school administration to address student behavioral issues. Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with students, parents, and staff at all levels. Effectively maintained a positive learning environment through exceptional classroom management and strong leadership abilities.
