Daily Duties at Marion Junior Senior High School:
Teaching two 8th grade, 9 th grade Regents and 9th grade Honors English classes. Successfully completed full spectrum of practicum requirements through student teaching experience in secondary classrooms. Planned and presented English and language-arts lessons in compliance with New York State learning requirements. Provided group and individual instruction for students in both 8th grade and grades 11th. Collaborated with teaching staff to plan curriculum, special activities, and field trips. Participated in parent/teacher conferences. Met with school administration to address student behavioral issues. Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with students, parents, and staff at all levels. Effectively maintained a positive learning environment through exceptional classroom management and strong leadership abilities.
