Daily Duties at Dauphin County Human Services:
Prepared and monitored a $12 million Human Services budget for the Human Services Director’s Office Directly monitored several Federal pass-through grants and ensured proper reporting of expenses and compliance for program activities Acted on behalf of Director as Project Manager and trainer for the first Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) implemented during the year per federal HUD mandate initiative Acted as liaison between County and community partners from 20 different homeless shelters and referral agencies, Capital Area Coalition on Homelessness and Dauphin County Continuum of Care participants Prepared monthly journal entries and submitted reports for allocation of Management and General Expenses to three categorical agencies: Aging, Children and Youth and Mental Health and Retardation Monitored budget to actual activity and provided research or adjustments for unusual variances Coordinated logistics for California based software vendor to provide initial training and then served as trainer on-going to participants in conjunction with Information Technology Department
