Project Manager & Contract Administrator, This firm performed a yearly volume $15 million range. Main function was to serve as the primary client contact with owners on all projects. Direct responsibility was to attend Building Committee meetings, giving presentations and delivering progress reports. Directed staff on completion of assigned tasks ensured workflow progressed on design and contract documentation. Actively involved in the bid & award phases of projects; assisted owner resolve final negotiations with construction firms. During contract administration phase resolved change order disputes between owner and contractors prepared estimate when necessary to determine legitimacy of claim. Responsibility included review and approval of monthly requisitions submitted by Contractors and CM firms. Trained new Contract Administration staff on duties and responsibilities, monitored progress advised on course correction when necessary. Prepared overall project budgets and schedules, updated through various phases of project development.
