Daily Duties at Boeing:
contractor for the Boeing 787 project: JOB DUTIES: Aircraft Assembler, routing wire bundle harnesses is my primary function. Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations. Work in assigned manufacturing production areas learn and perform a variety of structural assembly operations such as fastener installation and inspection duties while working from electronic models, manufacturing specifications, procedures and instructions. Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, skins and assemblies. Inspect for proper installations and integrity. Approve and stamp acceptable assemblies and reject assemblies not meeting requirements. General ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
