Daily Duties at Us Army:
Held numerous, progressively responsible supervisory and technical training positions, which included First Sergeant of an Advanced Individual Training Company, Chief Instructor for the Slavic/East European Language Division at the Joint Services Technical Training Center, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Instructor Supervisor for the Russian Language Department, Russian Language Instructor, Transcription Supervisor and Transcription Team Chief. I was responsible for coordinating, scheduling and delivering complex technical intelligence training in both the tactical and strategic field environments, as well as in a formal academic setting. This included both conventional and computer-based instructional formats. I supervised 65 technical training instructors, in as many as 16 courses, in 12 target languages. I managed the logistical and personnel assets required to maintain an efficiently functioning 24-hour per day, 365-day a year training operation. I prepared and delivered detailed, accurate reports and briefings for consumers at all levels ranging from local to national. I served as liaison between the U. S. Army’s Training and Doctrine Command and the U. S. Air Force executive agent at Goodfellow Air Force Base on technical training matters.
What they like about Us Army:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
