Daily Duties at Wellington Regional:
*Follow-up and collect all accounts receivable from all known HMO/PPO Payers. *Responsible for the review, follow-up and collection of the managed care accounts receivable assigned. Perform comprehensive follow-up activities that facilitate cash collections. Documents follow-up activity in the appropriate system. Accurately interprets all contracts and applies them to patient accounts for correct reimbursements. *Utilized multiple reporting functions to track & trend progress and to assure positive growth & collections were achieved while aligning goals & visions. *Answered phones, entered client information into computer database, billed insurance claims, insurance & patient collections, *Responsible for training and orientation of all new hires for the Unit. *Responsible for re-training of existing staff to ensure adequate knowledge of the latest updates. *Auditing of all collector accounts to facilitate accounts was accurately being worked by collector. *Responsible for monitoring managed care denials and ensuring appropriate resolution. * Responsible for writing policies & procedures. *Educational reporting. *Temp staff reporting. *Payroll.
